What's involved?
Whether you have been referred to us by your GP, or are a private patient who wishes to discuss a problem with a qualified Dermatologist, you will receive a full consultation with our experienced Dermatologist. This will include the diagnosis of the underlying condition and the subsequent management and treatment. Diagnosis may involve the use of biopsy, blood tests or allergy tests (please note these tests have an additional charge). Our Dermatologist will be happy to talk with you about any concerns you may have, and will explain in everyday terms the options available for treatment.How long does it take?
Your first full consultation is typically 20-30 minutes and the Dermatologist will advise on whether follow-ups are required to monitor progress and the appropriate frequency. Please note that as your consultation is with a Consultant Dermatologist it is a chargeable consultation.What is the success rate?
Our Dermatologists will talk to you in a matter of fact way about the likely success rates, to ensure you are fully informed before commencing any treatments.Our Dermatologist will explain in everyday terms the options available for treatment.
