There are a range of common skin conditions in children which present as a rash on eruption. These include chicken pox, tinea (a fungal infection), ringworm, scabies, hives, acne, birthmarks, eczema, warts, molluscum contagiosum, cradle cap and nappy rash. Pediatric Dermatology is the term used in the US, while Paediatric Dermatology is the term used in the UK.Symptoms and signs
Children can’t always say what is troubling them. They can’t always answer medical questions, be patient or helpful during a medical examination. Our Dermatologist is experienced in how to examine and treat children in a way that puts them at ease.Treatment
