We have now redeployed all of our staff and Dermatologists so they are working from home in line with the government directive, and although our Holborn clinic is physically closed, we are providing services to our patients on a remote basis. Dermatology consultations are continuing using video consultations with Skype, FaceTime or where suitable phone consultations, and we have appointments available Monday through Friday.
Our staff are available by phone on 020 7183 4565 and email at doctor@LSAH.co.uk between the hours of 9am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday, and 9:30am to 5:00pm on Saturdays. Outside of these hours you can still book dermatology consultations by using our online booking facility where you can view the schedules of our Dermatologists, and select a day and time that suits for your remote appointment. You can access online bookings on our website here or on our facebook page here.
We have been working with all UK private health insurers including BUPA, AXAPPP, Aviva, Cigna, Healix Vitality, WPA and many international insurers including GeoBlue, HTH, Aetna, and Allianz and where they are approving funding of appointmens, they are covering video consultations using their normal approval processes.
As our dispensary is stocked with most dermatology medications we are supporting patients by posting medications direct to their homes, helping them and their families continue to stay safe, stay home and not travel.
We know that many of you may have concerns about medications you are on and the coronavirus and we are working with the British Association of Dermatologists and their guidance, and will share more information on that shortly. The guidance with most medications is to continue taking them.
Our colleagues at The Doctors Laboratory are still operating Monday through Saturday to provide blood testing for our patients, where that cannot be postponed during this time. If you are due a blood test at this time, please contact us and your Dermatologist will be able to advise what alternatives are available for you.
We are working closely with our patients who require skin cancer surgery or removal of sutures and will be in contact with your shortly about options for your surgery.
Thank you for your support and patience during this difficult period, but rest assured that our Dermatologists and staff are still here working hard to care for you as patients of the clinic.
