The London Skin and Hair Clinic has been selected as Best Medical Hair Loss Dermatology Clinic – London in the 2023 Private Healthcare Awards. The award recognises the clinics innovation in providing patients access to hair loss treatment options not available in most NHS or private healthcare clinics such as JAK inhibitors, PRP for hair loss, topical minoxidil with additives.
The Private Healthcare Awards covers some of the most innovative private healthcare companies in the United Kingdom. Awards Co-ordinator, Jessie Wilson, commented on the winners recognised in this year’s programme. “Private healthcare is integral to the development and structure of the medical industry. The 2023 award recognises the contribution of the clinic towards diagnosis and treatment of medical hair loss conditions amongst children, men and women. The London Skin and Hair Clinic is fortunate to have a team of specialist Consultant Dermatologists, who specialise in hair loss and scalp conditions, including Dr Martin Wade, Dr Nicola Clayton, Dr Alia Ahmed, Dr Sharon Belmo and Dr Louise Fuller. Patients of the clinic have access to a much broader range of hair loss treatments, than available through the NHS or most private clinics. The clinic leads in providing access to JAK inhibitors for the treatment of alopecia areata, PRP scalp treatment for androgenetic alopecia. Through the onsite dispensary, patients can access topical minoxidil at higher concentrations than the standard 5% and including additives such as finasteride and latanaprost.

This is the second year The London Skin and Hair Clinic has been recognised in these prestigious awards. In 2002, The London Skin and Hair Clinic was awarded Medical Dermatology Centre of the Year – London in the Private Healthcare Awards 2022.
