Consultant Dermatologist Dr Jacqueline Simpson
Dr Jacqueline Simpson MBBS, MA(Oxon), MRCP (UK) (Dermatology) is a UK trained Consultant Dermatologist. Her NHS Consultant post is at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust where she consults on all aspects of adult and paediatric general dermatology including; psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, urticaria and hidradenitis suppurativa, mole checks and skin cancer.
She has a special interest in Paediatric Dermatology and sees birthmarks, vascular lesions, warts, molluscum. She is experienced in performing minor surgical excisions, skin biopsies, curettage and cautery, cyst removals and steroid injections.

Dr Jacqueline Simpson is able to see self-paying patients and patients insured with Bupa, AXA, WPA, Vitality & Cigna. If you are insured by another private health insurer you will need to pay as a self paying patient and try to claim back from your insurer. Dr Jacqueline Simpson is registered with the GMC and on the specialist register for Dermatology. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and Royal society of Medicine (RSM).
Dr Jacqueline Simpson is currently only accepting self-paying patients. Patients who have private health insurance will need to pay our self-pay prices if they wish to see Dr Simpson and will be unable to claim back the consultation, diagnostic test or treatment costs from their insurer.
Education and Training
Dr Jacqueline Simpson graduated from Oxford University with first class honours in her pre-clinical medical degree and achieved her clinical medical degree from University College London graduating with distinction at the top of her year. Dr Jacqueline Simpsons’ Dermatology training was undertaken at London teaching hospitals; St Mary’s Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Dr Jacqueline Simpson furthered developed her interest in Paediatric Dermatology during a research fellowship, at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, in the genetic skin disease team. Dr Jacqueline Simpson is up to date with the latest research and has presented her work both Nationally and Internationally. Dr Jacqueline Simpson is passionate about teaching and is Dermatology teaching lead for the Imperial College medical students at West Middlesex Hospital.
During her Dermatology training Dr Jacqueline Simpson was awarded a prestigious National Institute of Health (NIHR) Research and British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) research award for her work studying health seeking experiences of those with Psoriasis.
